In 2023, 4 Rivers Cooperative’s board of trustees reviewed the cooperative’s cost-of-service study, usage data by rate class, and approved tariffs more accurately reflecting the cooperative’s cost to serve each rate class with the objective to collect revenue fairly and equitably to provide safe, reliable electricity to our members.

4 Rivers Electric Cooperative Rate Tariffs
NON-COMMERCIAL SERVICE Applicable to single-phase farms, residential consumers, water wells, churches, schools, community halls and other public buildings.
GENERAL SERVICE SMALL Applicable to commercial, small industrial, three-phase farm and others.
GENERAL SERVICE LARGE Applicable to commercial and industrial customers where kilowatt (kW) demand is 50 kW or greater.
PRIMARY POWER SERVICE Applicable to commercial and industrial customer where kilowatt (kW) demand is 1,000 kW or greater.
WIND FARM STANDBY AND AUXILIARY DELIVERY SERVICE Applicable to wind farm.
OUTDOOR LIGHTING SERVICE Applicable to metered and unmetered dusk to dawn outdoor lighting.
SERVICE FEES RATE SCHEDULE Additional service fees and charges.
NET METERING RIDER Applicable to consumer renewable generation capacity of no more than 15 kW residential, 150 kW educational institution, or 100 kW commercial with a cooperative-approved interconnection agreement.
PARALLEL GENERATION RIDER Applicable to consumer renewable generation capacity of no more than 25 kW residential or 200 kW commercial with a cooperative-approved interconnection agreement.
POWER COST ADJUSTMENT CLAUSE Applicable to all cooperative rates except the Primary Power Service tariff.
