4 Rivers Electric Cooperative, Inc. has contracted with Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. to excavate, test and preserve our power line poles. Crews will be working around our High Prairie Substation near and in the City of Buffalo in Wilson County. We have also contracted to inspect poles on our Thunderbird Substation near the City of Americus and surrounding area in Lyon County.
Osmose crews will be driving Osmose company trucks along with all-terrain vehicles to access the right-of-way poles. All 4 Rivers poles, including transformer & meter poles in yards, will be tested for pole strength and documented for any needed repair or replacement.
This project will begin April 4 and is scheduled to be completed by the end of October 2022 with the cooperation of the weather.
If you have any concerns or questions, please give us a call at 620-364-2116, and our service representatives will assist you.
