At their May 19 meeting, the Board of Trustees voted to cancel the 2020 annual meeting of members, which was originally scheduled for March 21 and postponed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. They made the decision to cancel for the safety of the cooperative members and employees as there was no way to ensure adequate social distancing for the event. Member participation is an important principle of our cooperative. The annual meeting is a time to bring members together for cooperative business, so this was a difficult decision for the Board to make.
Our July newsletter in the Kansas Country Living will include our annual meeting summary and report for review. Please reach out to your trustees or CEO Dennis Svanes with questions you may have.
